Virtual Therapy | Maryland Clients Coming Fall 2026Choosing to start therapy is a big step, and I don’t take that lightly. It’s a privilege to walk alongside people during seasons of growth, reflection, change, and healing. As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia, I provide virtual therapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, addiction and recovery, men’s issues, relationship challenges, trauma, and major life transitions. I also welcome clients who may not have a specific diagnosis but simply feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of what comes next.My approach is grounded in CBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and psychodynamic approaches. I believe therapy should be both insightful and practical. We can explore the experiences and patterns that have shaped you while also focusing on what you can do differently moving forward.I’m not here to judge you or tell you how to live your life. My goal is to create a space where you can slow down, think clearly, be honest about what’s really going on, and work toward meaningful change.A Space to Be RealOne of my biggest strengths as a therapist is creating a space where people feel safe, respected, heard, and understood. I bring clinical training and experience to the work, but I also bring real-life perspective. I don’t approach therapy as someone who has everything figured out. I understand that growth can be messy, uncomfortable, and sometimes uncertain.Together, we’ll work toward greater self-awareness, healthier thinking, stronger coping skills, and the confidence to show up differently in your life.My faith is also an important part of how I understand healing and personal growth. If faith is important to you, we can make space for it in therapy. I believe God can be part of the healing process while still honoring your individual experiences, questions, and beliefs. How I WorkCognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT focuses on understanding the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. We work together to identify unhelpful patterns, challenge them, and develop healthier ways of responding.Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
SFBT helps you identify where you want to go and build on the strengths and resources you already possess. Rather than staying focused only on what is wrong, we identify what is working and turn those insights into practical steps forward.Psychodynamic Approaches
Sometimes what happens today is connected to experiences from yesterday. Psychodynamic work allows us to explore deeper patterns, relationships, beliefs, and past experiences that may continue to influence how you see yourself and interact with others.Who I Work WithI work best with individuals who are ready for change—even if they aren't completely sure what that change needs to look like yet.I commonly work with clients experiencing:Anxiety and chronic stress
Depression and low mood
Men's mental health
Grief and loss
Addiction and recovery
Relationship concerns
Trauma and past experiences
Life transitions
Self-esteem and confidence
Feeling stuck or overwhelmed
Personal and emotional growthYou don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Sometimes the first step is simply having a place to talk it through.Your First SessionOur first session is about getting comfortable and getting to know each other. I want you to feel heard, understood, and able to be real about what brought you to therapy—no pressure and no judgment. We'll talk about your story, what's been going on, what you're hoping will change, and what kind of support you need. From there, we'll begin identifying goals and figuring out what approach makes the most sense for you.I see therapy as a partnership. Your voice matters. My job is to listen, ask the right questions, offer guidance when needed, and help you develop tools that actually make sense in your everyday life.InsuranceI accept most major insurance plans. Insurance participation and benefits can vary by plan, so please contact me to verify your specific insurance coverage before scheduling.Where I PracticeGeorgia: Currently accepting clients virtually.Maryland: Accepting new virtual clients beginning Fall 2026.If you've been thinking about starting therapy, you don't have to wait until things get worse.
